Prerequisites:

A keen interest in and enjoyment of CAD drawing
Working environment:
- The latest version of Archicad
- Working with a provided model
- 3D modelling

Course content:

3D modelling as a preliminary step towards BIM-compliant working
- Visualisation and design techniques using the 3D model

Learning objectives:

- To master Archicad from the basics through to professional application
- Error detection and prevention
- Automation: generating plans at the click of a button
- Organised and structured working within the CAD environment

The assessment consists of two parts: one at the mid-term and one at the end of the term (50% each). Upon successful completion of the course (grade 2.0 or higher), a CAD course certificate listing the topics covered will be awarded.
