The central building complex of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at KIT is located in the immediate vicinity of the Faculty of Architecture. It was built in the 1960s and no longer meets the requirements of an innovative and scientific working environment in terms of layout, utilization options, character and possibilities. In close cooperation with the Dean's Office of the Faculty, you will develop a completely new building structure and design a sustainable and inspiring learning and research environment. The supporting structures of building 30.xx, with the exception of the high-voltage hall 30.36, are to be retained if possible but integrated into a functioning and creative overall work.
